Soundtrack (excerpts):

Press:
“Ninety minutes, thirty-four scenes. Highly condensed scenes consisting of the singular pieces of a family puzzle, precise and poignant, yet at the same time resonating deeply within the specator.” – Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung

“Wolf E. Rahlfs’ staging is dramatically arranged in such a way that the tension becomes almost unbearable.” – Stuttgarter Zeitung

“Great theatre with economic effort. (…) The acting is masterfully balanced between realism and symbolism.”

Night Blind tells the story of Leyla, a young woman looking for orientation and affection in an unstable world. Her father has disappeared, her boyfriend is beating her up, her brother terrorises what’s left of the family and her mother turns a blind eye on the situation. Then she meets Moe…

Yet another production in which SPOOKY BUNCH are achieving the kind of synthesis of acting, space and sound characteristic of their work. By creating a sequence of “Tableaus vivant” they turn the award-winning play of young Swiss author Darja Stocker into an intimate chamber play about violent relationships and the redeeming power of love.

Leyla, it's raining!
